This Privacy Policy describes how Jam Or Not ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile application and website at causewaynow.net.

The App requests access to your device's location only when you explicitly tap a location-based feature (e.g. "Find Nearby Stops" on the Bus page, or the ERP map). Location is:
You can deny location permission and still use all other features of the App (checkpoint cameras, fuel prices, ERP rates, etc.).
The App stores the following data locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:
You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser/app storage, or by using the "Clear" button on the home screen.
The App displays data fetched from the following government and public APIs. When you use the App, your device may make requests to these services:
These services have their own privacy policies. We do not send any personal data to them. Requests are proxied through our server to protect API keys.
The App uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and your device's advertising identifier to show you personalised ads based on your interests.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. Anonymous congestion observations stored on our server contain no user identifiers and cannot be traced back to any individual.
Anonymous crossing observations are retained for up to 12 weeks to power the historical congestion heatmap, after which they are automatically overwritten by newer data. No other server-side user data is retained.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The App contains no content inappropriate for any age group.
The App is served exclusively over HTTPS. All API communications between the App and third-party data sources are encrypted in transit. Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data at risk.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
